So my awesome plans for my non-work time have been somewhat changed.. I was looking forward to morning walks in the cool fall weather, packing boxes for moving, and a several other items on my to-do-list. I now have new found sensation that is keeping me from doing some of these items.
At my last doctors appointment the doctor said "I'm sure you know this because you are carrying her, but this is a big baby." I didn't know and thought I wasn't showing that much. However, over the next few days my stomach has just shot out and my body is feeling the effects. I now know what people are talking about when they have sciatica and I will forever more have sympathy for them! I am grateful for a sweet husband that is being extremely sensitive to the sudden, unexpected out bursts from the pain.. Thanks Chad!!

Oh! That is the pits!! The nice thing is, it goes away just as soon as they're born! ;) A little bit of yoga really helped me. Hang in there! And for the record, big babies are good! Especially when they come in cold weather. :D
oh i hope you feel better melanie! do get some rest and make sure Chad is nice :) of course he always is!
Totally the worst part of pregnancy. One day I got it so bad I couldn't move for hours! Luckily that only happened once, sorry you are dealing with it too. I think sitting or standing for too long in the same position can trigger it.
On no! That's no fun. You look great though!
You look so great! I found that sitting on an ice pack when I could helped to calm the muscle that pinched that nerve. For me it lasted for quite a while, but suddenly went away one day. I hope that happens for you too!
Ya that pain is the worst! It is fun to have the baby in you and feel them, but that is all I liked about being pregnant:) I think that the doctor told me when I asked him if there were any special exercises for it he said with a sad look on his face "oh I'm sorry" but there really aren't any special ones, just stretching in general and they don't really help! I feel for you Mel. You look fantastic:)
oh Melanie, sorry you're in pain. I hope it doesn't last. You look great!!!!!! Only a little longer! :)
I forgot to say that I actually went to the chiropractor and that seemed to help..
Oh I had the worse sciatic nerve problems! Yuck I can totally relate! For the record you look so cute pregnant AND big babies are awesome! I have the biggest baby and he is the best!
Cute photo! I am so sad I am missing it in person. But, this helps!
